What is Android? Android is an Operating System, specifically designed for mobile devices. Developed using Linux kernel and other open source software. Android was first developed by a group of developers known as the Open Handset Alliance, with the main contributor and commercial marketer, Google. According to Android director Stephanie Cuthbertson, now more than 2.5 billion active Android devices are in the world. Android is an extremely popular operating system, User friendly, relatively cheap and able to work on many platforms makes that top mobile OS.
Android 11 or 2020 update will be the most ambitious Operating system update ever. Months ago, Android 11 lurked on the horizon. Planned to be released by the end of 2020, but in mid-February a developer preview gave us our first glimpse at Google’s upcoming operating system update. Google already scheduled to release developer’s preview from February to April (Developer 1 to 3), Then Beta releases starts on May to June and final release should be end of the year 2020.

Mute notifications during recording
Allows you to record video uninterrupted by notifications. Notifications will be muted automatically while recording.
Improved touch sensitivity
Eliminate touch and swipe problems with screen protectors.
Pinning returns to share menu
If you want to get more customizable share menu now you can ‘pin’ apps or shortcuts to use every time when you share something.
Native screen recording
There were rumours it will go with Android 10, but still not yet. Android 11 will come with the long-waited feature.

Improved dark mode
Not everyone is fond of dark mode themes. But if you like you’ll get it.
New Motion sense gesture
Users faced issue when gestures controlling movements in Android 10. With new update it was improvised.

Air Plane mode won’t turn off Bluetooth
In previous Android versions, Airplane mode deactivates Bluetooth. It had to turn on manually. With Android 11 it won’t turn off and keep fully functional.
In Android 11 we will see an option to share battery. Pixel mobiles in the future will come with the reverse charging feature. It will start with pixel 5.
And Also Share Menu App pinning, Improved notification shade conversations, Chat bubbles, one-time permissions, Scoped storage, Better handling of older notifications, Project mainline enhancements and Motion controls for certain phones.
After Android 9 (Pie) launched, Google announced that they will follow a numerical order for their future OS versions. There after 2019’s Android 10, people are waiting for the upcoming Android 11. Most recently, Google has launched its Android 11 developer’s first preview on last week. Normally it takes till March for developer previews to comes out, but this early release just shows how many new changes Android 11 is bringing with it. This is nowhere near what we will see later in the third quarter of 2020, when the stable version launches, but it’s a first step to the next Android.
