Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny is unconscious in hospital suffering from suspected poisoning On 20 August 2020. He fell ill during a flight and the plane made an emergency landing in OMSK. Doctors said he was in an artificial coma and they were trying to save his life. Corps suspects something was put in his tea at an airport cafe. Also, they said they were seeking to transfer him to a specialist poison control center in Europe, but hospital doctors were refusing to provide records of his condition.
However, the deputy head physician of the hospital later told that it was not certain Navalny had been poisoned, although poisoning was natural one of the diagnose being considered. But it has been revealed that it’s a poison.
his wife, Yulia Navalny, appealed and on Saturday officials consented to him being airlifted to Berlin where he is currently being treated. After Navalny has transferred to a hospital in Berlin.
Before that Mr. Navalny suffered a serious chemical burn to his right eye when he was assaulted with a green, antiseptic dye in 2017.he has damage in his right eye.
Alexei Navalny was the leader of the “Russia of the Future incumbent” and the leader of the opposition political progress party. He was born on the 4th of June 1976 in Moscow city and he was a former student at People’s Friendship University and Yale University. Navalny was a Lawyer. Now he is a fulltime politician.
Navalny has been arrested several times by Russian Corps. He received two suspended sentences. One in July 2013 and other in December 2014.Both cases are widely considered to be politically motivated and to bar him from running in future elections.
He organized protest rallies against corruption in Russia, Russian president Vladimir Putin and Putin’s government. Navalny has a long history of participating in ultra nationalist demonstrations. Such as against Muslims, Georgians and other various religious groups and ethics. Because of that reasons like his nationalism, Navalny being described as “the most dangerous man in Russia”. The wall street journal described him as “the man Vladimir Putin fears most”.
Alexei Navalny has been in an artificial coma and on a ventilator since last week, but the Berlin hospital says Navalny’s condition is stable and his life is not in danger. The German hospital has not confirmed what poison Navalny encountered.
Several active Russian politicians have been killed or poisoned in recent times. Wikipedia alone lists over 120 targets of Russian assassination plots, many successful and many carried out against spies, Politicians, counter-intelligence agents, political dissidents, and even allies.
Alexander Valterovich Litvinenko was a British naturalized former Russian FSB secret service. On 1 November 2006, Litvinenko fell ill. He was poisoned by polonium. He died from the poisoning on 23rd November.
Borris Nemtsov, former Russian Opposite Leader was killed in February 2015. an unknown gunman shot him several times and he died instantly. Most people said it was a political murder for which Putin was responsible.
